Out of an RL Best Of Sudden Daughter
“Roxi” is a beautiful, standout, western pleasure mare with an exceptional disposition and a kind, willing nature. I have known her for years and have watched her progress from unbroke to finished and winning in the show pen. From the very beginning, she has always been level-headed, easy to work with, and a pleasure to be around with a heart of gold - then couple that with a beautiful mover! You cant go wrong… so if you are shopping for your next western focused all around Roxi is one to consider.
Over the past several years, Roxi has enjoyed success in the show pen with her owner and has also generously carried a variety of riders, proving herself to be versatile, dependable, and enjoyable for many different skill levels - even the little leadliners.
Due to unforeseen health circumstances with her owner, the difficult decision has been made to find Roxi the loving forever home. She unloaded off the trailer a couple weeks back with dried tears on her neck - she will truly be missed. It is important that she finds someone who will appreciate her sweet personality, cherish her, and enjoy all she has to offer.
In the arena, Roxi is a standout western pleasure mare with a beautiful rhythm and natural self-carriage. She is deep hocked, cadenced, and has a slow, tight jog that is sure to catch the eye of any judge. She can also lengthen beautifully for Horsemanship or Trail classes, making her a versatile all-around candidate. Her jog and extended jog is really easy and smooth to ride, and her lope is really soft and floaty feeling. Roxi has also been started in Showmanship and already understands the basics. With continued finishing, this will be yet another class where she is sure to excel.
She is easy to have around the farm - quiet and clean in her stall. Stands great for the farrier. Clips without the need for a twitch (even her ears), and stands quietly for banding and bathing. Roxi does not have any maintenance or vices. She loads and unloads easily (she is used to hauling with others) and settles into new places with ease.
If you are looking for a kind-hearted mare with talent, presence, and a wonderful mind, Roxi may be the perfect addition to your barn.
